All wage determinations will be based on relevant experience.

We are seeking a Medication Aide to support our residents in our Senior Independent and Assisted Living/Memory Care Facility in Sarasota, FL. This role is responsible for providing resident care and services including administration of medication under the direction of the nurse.

 

The medication aide position includes;

16 hours every pay period; 1 shift per weekDay Shift - 7am-3pmWeekends and holidays as neededCash Out Wages Before Payday with our New Benefit of Early Wage Access!

Responsibilities/Job Description Assists resident with personal cares based on individual plan of careObserves residents and reports status to appropriate staff in a clear, concise mannerMaintain order and cleanliness in residents rooms and other work areasAssists with admissions, transfers, and discharges as neededFollows all shift routines regarding measuring of vital signs, weights, and administration of medications and treatmentsDispenses meds using the right route, medication, resident time, and doseMaintains an awareness of actual and potential side effects, adverse reactions, contraindications and purposes of medicationsMaintains a clean medication cart Qualifications

Required:

Completion of required training and meet the state requirements for Medication Administration with a Med Tech Certificate from the State of FLn(6 hour in-person course)Completion of Refresher Course each year if Med Tech Certificate is not from current year

Preferred:
