Medicine - Outpatient Palliative Care in Oncology - Clinical Faculty

Cedars-Sinai Health System, set in the heart of Los Angeles, is seeking a talented physician leader to join our robust Supportive Care Medicine program (palliative care). The successful candidate will lead the Oncology-based Supportive Care Medicine team and dually report to the Medical Director of Supportive Care Medicine and the Director of Cedars-Sinai Cancer’s Patient and Family Support Program.
In addition to providing excellent patient care, this physician will:
+ assist with the management of an integrated care delivery model,
+ solidify practice guidelines and benchmarks for cancer care
+ assist with providing faculty mentorship and clinical oversight of the oncology Supportive Care Medicine clinicians and physicians-in-training.
With an 886-bed acute inpatient facility, including a 120-bed ICU tower and over 50,000 admissions annually, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is one of the largest non-profit academic medical centers in the country. The Health System is home to one of the largest providers of oncologic care in the state of California and is the leading heart transplant center in the nation. The Supportive Care Medicine team is fully integrated into our diverse academic and community environments, providing **consultative services at the Cedars Sinai Samuel Oschin Cancer Center and other Cedars-Sinai affiliated sites of oncologic care.**

**_Our compensation philosophy:_**
We offer competitive total compensation that includes pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. We also offer a comprehensive faculty benefits package.
Pay Range: $263,001 - $345,020 total cash compensation
Qualifications
•Graduate of an accredited medical school
•BC/BE in appropriate specialty/sub-specialty
•Fellowship training and/or Board Certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
•A minimum of 5 years of experience working in Palliative Care preferred
•Must hold (or apply for) a medical license in the State of California
•Prior experience (and/or an aptitude for) managing and leading others
