Southwest General Health Center is a 352-bed community hospital located in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. One of the last standing community hospitals in Northeast Ohio, we partner with University Hospitals and other local community organizations to provide a full range of services to all who need us. Meds-to-Beds Pharmacy Technician

The Meds-to-Beds Pharmacy Technician works under the delegated authority of the pharmacist on duty to assess patients for inclusion into our meds to beds discharge prescription program.  Facilitates transmission of meds to beds prescriptions to our pharmacy, performs data entry and delivers meds to beds medications to the patient prior to discharge.  Also functions as a pharmacy technician within the Community Pharmacy when needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High school graduate or equivalent, completion of a certified pharmacy technician training program (CPhT)

Required length and type of experience: Minimum of one year pharmacy experience preferred

Required licensure, certification or registry:  Certified Pharmacy Technician or Registered Pharmacy technician in good standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy
