Meetings & Events Services Senior Coordinator

The Meetings & Events (M&E) team is focused on creating and enabling inspiring environments that bring BCGers together to strengthen our culture, build capabilities, and showcase excellence, in the safest and most efficient way. The M&E team serves as a strategic advisor and tactical support network to our worldwide, regional, and local teams who are responsible for the delivery of successful events and projects. The meetings group partners closely with senior leaders, functional and regional event teams, and individual meeting planners across the company to enhance overall event experience while creating efficiencies and lowering risk for all meeting formats (in-person, virtual, & hybrid).

The M&E Staffing Senior Coordinator will play a critical role in advancing M&E’s long-term growth strategy and client value proposition by ensuring that all end-to-end events are appropriately staffed with the right talent mix, within budget, and in alignment with operational excellence and risk management practices, enabling seamless event delivery and optimized resource allocation. Key activities and responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Collaborate with the Staffing Senior Manager & Event Management leadership team to develop and execute an annual staffing plan for FTEs and Contingent Workers for all end-to-end events. Partner with internal stakeholders to optimize staffing levels and coordinate with external staffing agencies to source and onboard supplemental talent for M&E, ensuring cost-efficiency while maintaining high-quality event delivery and avoiding risks to BCG. Consolidate outcomes from meetings/working sessions to senior-level stakeholders, capturing and incorporating feedback received.   Support with maintaining annual Staffing budget and reconcile invoices and committed expenses to manage spend throughout the year, ensuring clear communication of staffing needs and budget impacts. Support with creating staffing and budget reports to leadership, highlighting any variances and recommending adjustments as needed. Coordinate with functions across BCG to ensure adoption of appropriate financial, risk, and legal requirements within M&E Support cross-functional projects to increase team effectiveness, efficiency, & service innovation Develop strong ties across the M&E team to support peak periods and share best practices Actively gaining education and experience across the events industry

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Finance or related field with 5+ years of relevant work experience as Finance, or as a Business Analyst or in events related supplier management/contracting. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and functional understanding of MS Dynamics Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal); strong command of the English language required Experience working across cultural boundaries in a complex, matrix structured organization preferred Previous experience working in a global/virtual team preferred, preferably in the Meetings & Events function
YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will work with the Staffing Senior Manager & Event Management leadership team, as well as Event Leads who are supporting event delivery.
