What You'll Do
Our Global Meetings & Events (M&E) team focuses on creating safe and inspiring environments that bring people together to enable deep connections, accelerate capability building, and create global impact. The group partners closely with senior leaders, functional and regional event teams, and individual meeting planners across the company to enhance overall event experience while creating efficiencies and scale, and lowering risk for all meeting formats (in-person, virtual, & hybrid).
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Special Projects Senior Manager, you will lead complex, high-priority initiatives within the M&E Special Projects team, working closely with senior leaders to accelerate innovation, operational efficiency, and change management. You will define project strategies, manage large-scale programs, and oversee their successful execution to drive lasting impact within BCG's Meetings & Events function. This role requires a seasoned project leader with advanced skills in stakeholder management, program design, and cross-functional collaboration. Your ability to lead and influence change across a global organization will be critical.

You will be held accountable for these key responsibilities (including but not limited to):
1. Strategic Program Leadership and Deliverable Development
Define and lead high-impact programs and change initiatives that align with M&E’s strategic prioritiesSet the vision, goals, and success metrics for major initiatives and ensure measurable impact.Manage project teams across multiple workstreams, overseeing detailed project plans, budgets (when applicable), and progress against milestones.Actively manage risks, issues, and interdependencies across projects.Lead and support the development of deliverables associated with assigned programs, including deck development, custom ChatGPTs, playbooks, templates, digital products, collaboration tools, and others.
2. Stakeholder Engagement and Influence
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing thought partnership and strategic recommendations.Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and working teams to ensure alignment, buy-in, and successful adoption of initiatives.Present to and facilitate discussions with leadership, delivering recommendations with clarity and confidence.
3. Change Management and Building a Culture of Continuous Improvement
Drive the adoption of new tools, processes, and digital capabilities, ensuring sustained improvements in event services.Lead the change management efforts for initiatives, including communications plans, training, and engagement strategies.Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies, such as GenAI and advanced digital platforms, to enhance team capabilities.Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities for other team members, building a culture of excellence and innovation.Actively contribute to knowledge-sharing, best practices, and continuous improvement efforts within eh M&E team.Foster collaboration within a global, multicultural team environment.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business or a related field, and/or 7-10+ years of related experience in program and project management, preferably in a global, corporate environment with experience leading cross-functional initiatives Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile, etc.) preferred Knowledge of digital tools, change management strategies, and innovative technologies Proven experience working in a global service-driven organization with both in-person and virtual teams, with increasing levels of stakeholder engagement and a strong focus on building consensus Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with proven ability to influence senior leaders; experience with PowerPoint and strong command of the English language required Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail, flexibility, and a commitment to being an active team player Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines Experience working across cultural boundaries in a complex, matrix structured organization preferredWho You'll Work With
You will report to the Meetings & Events Business Partnership and Special Projects Director and will work in close partnership with our full Meeting & Events team as well as the Digital Product Portfolio team that supports the Meetings & Events.
