What You'll Be Doing During your placements you will be working as part of a Defence Systems Engineering team, giving you the opportunity to experience different cultures and work with a diverse range of people. As part of our Engineering Graduate Programme you can expect the following: • Placements at a variety of Manufacturing Sites, our Global Technology Centre and within the Global Engineering Function. • Performing and supporting engineering testing, verification, and delivery of technical content and solutions within an engineering laboratory, test, or work environment. • Introduction and support of root cause analysis, preventative and corrective action to reduce/eliminate non-conformances with all relevant customer, regulatory, and airworthiness requirements, within agreed program, schedule, and manufacturing constraints • Supporting operational and development Programs to enable and deliver zero defect projects, utilising engineering and problem solving skills. We are committed to your continued development and success, and so throughout your journey you will engage in our on boarding and structured development programme; alongside our Global Graduate Community, providing you support and networking opportunities throughout your career at GKN Aerospace. You will also have the opportunity to take part in additional activities outside of your role, whether it be supporting local community initiatives, or our young people strategy, and you are given the encouragement and time to participate.
