Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors. **Position Description** + Lead the process development and migration for melting process improvement + Work with multiple teams for new technologies integration to achieve Sustainability target + Worldwide manufacturing support and improvement + Execute technical analysis of the melting process and drive to conclusions to promote improved process capability. + Lead/Support process standardization, documentation, and governance. **Education & Experience** + BS degree or above - major in chemical / mechanical engineering or science + 5 years or above related experience in chemical / mechanical engineering industry + Preferred to have facility background + Project leading skill and process development experience **Required Skills** **Knowledge** + Basic knowledge of thermal and/or chemical process + Experiment design and execution + Methodology – Six Sigma, DMAIC, Project Skills and so on + Data analysis experience – Statistical knowledge, data science tool kit is a plus. **Desired Skills** + Mature communication skills and team leadership + Problem solving and decision making. + Hands-on experience in fab is a plus. **Soft Skills** + Good communication and coordination skills in Chinese and English. + Positive attitude and interpersonal skills + Keen for challenge the goal and work under high pressure + English proficiency : TOEIC 550 is a plus We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.
