The Opportunity

As an experienced QA engineer on our team, you'll play a crucial role in guaranteeing the quality of our XRay product. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, ensuring that our product meets the highest standards of reliability and performance. Your Role

Understand the test specifications that suit XRay product and develop detailed test plans for the functionality.Automation framework development and enhancementsAutomate test cases and execute as part of new feature testing, and enable automated regression runs for subsequent releases.  Execute the test plans to deliver quality productsUnderstand requirements, functional, and design aspects of the product.First-year objectives include understanding Nutanix products and tech stack, the virtualization infrastructure, cloud platforms, and storage systems. Additionally, you will work with various engineers to validate features that are being developed and build an automation framework to validate deployment APIs for private and public cloud platformsLead Quality XRay Releases, CI/CD Pipelines, Test Infrastructure Management 

 

What You Will Bring

Excellent programming skills and coding in PythonGood knowledge of the automation frameworks and tools, Selenium, PyTest, Locust, Postman​​Experience with automated Testing of RESTful web servicesExperience of 3-4 years in testing enterprise and cloud softwareUnderstanding of web technologies (HTTP/s, HTML, Javascript, XML, JSON)Experience with Backend API Performance TestingExperience with automation efforts, writing and debugging automation tests for complex enterprise softwareExperience with troubleshooting and debuggingExperience with Kubernetes (GKE cluster, deployment of pods, services, helm)Experience with CI/CD Tools Jenkins, Ansible, TerraformA solid understanding of infrastructure, including storage, networking, and containers is a plus.Experience working with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) is a plus.A BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent with 3+ years of experience is required for this position.How we work

This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
