You can expect to feel comfortable approaching him with any questions or concerns. **Your Role** + Design and develop scalable, distributed systems and web-scale applications + Take ownership of new feature development, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery + Build a scalable application that enables test certification, BOM creation, orchestration of test frameworks, and result analytics + Design and implement clean REST and GraphQL APIs + Collaborate closely with product and design teams to create a consumer-grade user experience for industry-shaping products + Work with Platforms Development, Test, Documentation, and Product Management teams to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment + Engage with customers and support when needed to tackle production issues + Bridge the gap between requirements and implementation, communicate with stakeholders, anticipate issues, and improve end-to-end workflows + Leverage existing GenAI technologies like GitHub Copilot to enhance efficiency and productivity **What You Will Bring** + 5+ years of relevant experience in software engineering + BS/Masters in Computer Science or related field + Strong background in backend development with an affinity towards UX and design + Ability to define and implement complex distributed system architecture + Expertise in both REST and GraphQL + Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders to clarify requirements and anticipate issues + Strong sense of ownership and an eye for design + Proficiency in using GenAI technologies like GitHub Copilot + Experience with relational database architecture, schema, and queries + Proficiency in Java or Python for enterprise-quality software development + Working knowledge of Git and exposure to Agile methodologies + Understanding of microservices and containerized technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) **How we work** This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence.
