The Member Service Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional service to members by assisting with account maintenance, promoting credit union products, and handling loan-related inquiries. This role involves cross-selling financial products, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, and maintaining high-quality member interactions.

Responsibilities:
– Member Service: Provide personalized, courteous service to both new and existing members.
– Loan Servicing: Assist members with loan applications, payments, and servicing. Ensure loan decisions are in compliance with credit union policies.
– Cross-Selling Products: Analyze member needs and recommend relevant financial products (e.g., loans, savings accounts, insurance).
– Account Maintenance: Perform tasks such as opening new accounts, processing deposits/withdrawals, and resolving account issues.
– Automated Services: Educate and assist members in using automated services (e.g., online banking, mobile apps).
– Quality Control and Compliance: Maintain adherence to credit union policies, financial regulations, and quality standards.
Desired Background/Skills:
– Experience: 2-3 years in customer service, financial services, or banking.
– Loan Knowledge: Familiarity with loan products, servicing, and processing.
– Sales Skills: Ability to cross-sell financial products based on member needs.
– Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
– Detail-Oriented: Ability to handle transactions and loan documentation with accuracy.
– Technology Skills: Proficient in banking software and digital tools.
