This Device Engineer role is focused on the development and optimization of MEMS resonator devices.  As part of TI’s Advanced Technology Development (ATD) team, the role involves close collaboration with TI’s manufacturing fabs, business units, packaging development team, and Kilby Labs.  The position requires in-depth knowledge of MEMS resonator (BAW and related acoustic and mechanical resonator) devices.  

Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

MEMS Device/component layout, simulation (FEM) and optimizationMEMS process integration and fabrication evaluation and device characterizationCollaboration with fab/manufacturing engineers to ensure device manufacturabilityCollaboration with reliability engineers to enable device reliabilityCollaboration with modeling and PDK engineers for modeling and technology enablementCollaboration with packaging and product teams to ensure product capability of deviceFailure root-cause investigation for device/process/reliability/yield/product improvementsWork closely with product groups and other partners to enable new business opportunities utilizing MEMS resonator technologies and establish roadmap directionReport project updates at regular intervals to management/stakeholders including and business partners
