4 Year Degree Men’s and Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper Graduate Assistant Coach

The Athletics Department at Southwestern College is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Graduate Assistant Coach for the Men’s and Women’s Soccer programs.

Position Description Duties for position include assisting the head coach in all aspects of the program (practices, matches, recruiting, conditioning, overseeing academics, etc.). Primary focus will be planning and running goalkeeping sessions for both the Men’s and Women’s soccer athletes. Position compensated with graduate studies, housing, coaching & meal stipend. Candidates must be able to work long hours, be able to move and carry equipment above 50lbs and be willing to learn and follow direction.

This position is a shared position between the men’s soccer program and the women’s soccer program working primarily with goalkeepers from both teams.

Position begins August 1, 2025

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and admission into a Southwestern College graduate program • A valid driver’s license is required and must pass a Motor Vehicle Report • Must pass a background check • Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience preferred • Recruiting experience encouraged but not required

Compensation: • Full tuition waiver – approx. $22,000 value (http://www.sckans.edu/graduate/) • On-campus housing • Meal stipend ($500 per semester) • $5,000 stipend
