The Oncology Clinic Counselor provides psychosocial assessments, crisis interventions, brief therapeutic interventions, community linkages and supportive services for outpatient cancer clients, families, and support systems. Acts as a contact person for providing information about local, regional and national cancer-related resources. Helps facilitate cancer support groups and coordinates PSPH educational and supportive services, which includes the cancer survivorship programs, new oncology patient orientation, and other Oncology Service Line events. Elements of this position include clinical assessment of patients, brief psychotherapy, crisis intervention, referral, and care coordination.

Required Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Mental Health counseling or equivalent. 1 year experience working in healthcare. Demonstrated clinical experience in individual and family counseling and crisis intervention.Preferred Qualifications:
