Responsibilities
Extensive training and orientation program Collaborates with Emergency Department team to provide mental health and substance abuse support and interventions for our patientsAssists with mental health and substance abuse patient triage and level of care determinationsAssists patients with mental health and substance abuse system navigationBridges patients from the ED to other services such as Inpatient, Partial Hospital, OutpatientSupports hospital staff during and following crisis situations as part of our Behavioral Crisis Response TeamThrives in high-paced and active clinical environment, supporting patients in acute crisis situations
Qualifications
Experience
Prefer three years of post license experience in a mental health/addiction recovery or related field. Certification and experience with multi-occurring disorders a plus.
Education/Licensure
Minimum of a Masters degree from an accredited educational institution in Counseling, Social Work, Nursing or other related behavioral health field is required.
