Summary

JOB SUMMARY: 

Responsible for providing comprehensive outpatient psychiatric and/or substance use disorder assessment and treatment to a variety of patients in multiple programmatic settings.

Provides both initial and ongoing psychiatric evaluation to patients Provides psychiatric and/or substance use disorder treatment to patients. Coordinates care of patient with necessary resources. Documents all work as dictated by regulating agencies and insurance carriers Educates others regarding psychiatric and/or substance abuse issues and treatment. Stays abreast of current trends in field

REQUIREMENTS: 

Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in the field of Social Work, Counseling and/or Psychology Education - Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology 1-3 years of previous relevant experience preferred American Heart Association BLS Certification required LMSW/LGPC in Maryland required; LCSW-C or LCPC license preferred
