Find your purpose working with patients in the Inpatient Behavioral Health unit at the Rice Memorial Hospital! Under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN), this position provides direct and indirect care of patients ten years old to elderly to meet their physical, educational, psychosocial and spiritual needs. This position also supports patient care needs by performing delegated patient care and non-patient care tasks. You would be responsible for assisting the patient care team in the treatment and care of patients and families in accordance with established policies, procedures, and unit standards to provide quality care.
Schedule:
64 hours every 2 weeks Straight evening shifts (3PM-11:30PM) Every other weekend Rotating holidaysOfferings:

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) training initial and on-going training provided required. Must be able to effectively handle escalating behavior and utilize physical safety holds with aggressive patients. 2 years of college with courses in psychology, sociology, and/or social work or comparable job experience preferred.
