DMCI Homes is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced QS to join our commercial team in Makati. As MEP QS, you will play a pivotal role in project cost management and control, ensuring that our project are executed efficiently and within budget. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Candidate must be a graduate of mechanical or Electrical Engineering  At least 5 years QS experience with at least 2 years supervisory experience. Must be willing to work at the Head Office. 

 

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Collaborate with MEP Team to prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates and bill of quantities (Budget cost estimates and Pre-tender estimates). Manage the preparation of tender documents, tender clarification, and tender analysis report. Review and analysis of contractor's proposal for variation orders and claims Manage change orders, variations and claims while maintaining accurate record up to the final account. Manage the preparation of BOM through CostX Assist in developing/updating training materials needed to enhance commercial team's competencies. Undertake cost analysis, value engineering and risk and opportunity costs. Administer subcontractor's contract obligations, entitlements, and procedures Monitor project costs throughout the construction lifecycle, Identifying cost variances and proposing cost-effective solutions and monitor project financial performance. Oversee and improve project reporting processes Manage the team in preparation of accurate monthly progress reports and cost forecast. Supervise coordination between team members and ensure effective collaboration and communication  Benchmarking
