We have an exciting opportunity for an MEP Department Manager in our Facilities Department. Great opportunity to join a dynamic team, working collaborativlely with other disciplines to achieve client and professional satisfaction. Project work is diverse, including both public and private sectors and in many different markets to include local, state and federal government as well as healthcare, higher education, senior living and multi-family housing. Our team philosophy embraces effective leadership and goodwill. A desire for professional growth and embracing new markets is highly desirable.The right candidate can work remotely from any of our East Coast operations.
Responsibilities
Directs technical programs and projects of varying size, with overall program/project responsibilities.Manages assigned staff. Works independently, using knowledge of industry and/or professional guidelines and protocols to accomplish goals, objectives and solve complex problems.Provides technical expertise and leadership across the division and the industry.Has a solid understanding of business strategies and can use business acumen to position services and capabilities to meet client needs.Manages MEP budget and provides direction on future growth and expansion.Requirements
15+ years of experience.Ability to development opportunities for team members.Ensures adherence with technical guidance documents and industry standards.Creates a climate of open communication/collaborationDirects and performs technical programs and projects of varying size, with overall program/project responsibilities.Develops and maintains client relationships. Leads proposal coordination, preparation and pricing, and preparation technical assessment.Has a high impact by effectively responding to client and market needs.Skills and Experience
Minimum Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.Licensure in multiple states is highly desirable. MD, VA , DC PE licensure preferred.LEED Certification is a plus.Proficiency in Revit is highly desirable.Commissioning Certification and/or Energy Modeling Certification is a plus.Ideal locations: Hunt Valley, MD, Falls Church, VA, New Cumberland, PA or Dover, DE
