Job Title: MEP Engineer

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled MEP Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and REVIT, with a strong background in designing HVAC systems and performing load calculations for various project types. This role involves collaboration across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines, and requires travel to job sites across Northern NJ to conduct existing conditions surveys, ensure compliance with industry standards and local building codes, and actively participate in project meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

Design HVAC systems and perform load calculations using AutoCAD and REVIT.Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams.Implement designs under the guidance of senior engineers.Conduct existing conditions surveys at job sites across Northern NJ.Ensure designs comply with industry standards and local building codes.Participate in project meetings and contribute to design discussions.Interpret and read mechanical and electrical MEP plans.

Essential Skills:

2-6 years of experience in MEP design.Degree in Mechanical Engineering.Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT.Strong understanding of HVAC design within buildings.Ability to perform load calculations, duct design, piping design, and layouts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in a design role within an MEP consulting firm.E.I.T. certification is a plus but not required.Ability to work across all MEP trades: Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing.
