QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of BS in Mechanical / Sanitary Engineering Has at least five years of experience in the related fieldDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design Management
Strategize to ensure the project schedule will be met as per the approved EPC. Secures the latest architectural base plans from the respective design team Submits necessary reports to MEP Manager, MEP overall head and Design Manager Reviews BIM powerhouse layout Review computations necessary for plans, technical specifications and responses to all RFA/RFI concerns Attends site visit to conduct learning sessions Accountable for timely completion of project drawings as indicated on the drawing production schedule Approves specifications submitted by subcontractors Final checking and approval of shop drawings Validate plans before issuance to architectAwards Management
Review of Technical Specification: Ensure the correctness and completeness of the evaluation. Checking of generated budget Accountable for the timely award as indicated on the procurement schedule and ensure that all award items are aligned with the latest issued FCD. Ensures proper budget allocation and savings shall not be less than 5% of the designated budget and must be coordinated with the Cost Management Team Coordinates with suppliers, subcontractors, and site engineers concerning pre-bid meetings for awards Studies costing and materials in preparation for projects Ensures completeness of submittals by checking if the technical proposals are aligned with shop drawings Validates the need for additional claims by subcontractorsPeople Management
Organizes workflow and delegates tasks appropriately. Monitors team productivity and ensures the quality of work output. Leads and coaches the team by providing strategies to meet deadlines. Conducts shadowing of candidates as potential successors
