We are seeking a talented individual to join our Mercer Marsh Benefits team at Mercer. This role will be based in Toronto, Canada. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. The Toronto Health Office Practice Leader (OPL) will lead the Toronto office within the Canadian health business, overseeing budgeting, staffing, and strategy while focusing on revenue growth, sales growth, and colleague engagement.
We will count on you to:
Define and implement the long-term business strategy at the market level in alignment with global and regional strategy, contributing to the financial success of the business.
Manage client revenue levels by ensuring profitable client relationships are formed and maintained.
Establish and maintain market contacts, interacting with financial and HR executives, C-suite members, and other business community leaders.
Lead key client engagements, directing project teams to develop strategic solutions that address client needs and issues.
Provide direction and focus, holding staff accountable and driving engagement through frequent communication and dialogue.
Hire, manage, develop, and evaluate a team of professionals, providing effective performance feedback and career development opportunities.
What you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in the benefits environment with a proven ability to generate revenue through client acquisition and team management.
Strong sales and communication skills, with a successful track record in marketing.
