Job Summary
The Merchandise Assistant is responsible for compiling, processing, disseminating, and maintaining merchandise information and providing other administrative support to the merchandising team.
Key Roles and Responsibilities Set up items and assign/maintain attributes Support price change form completion/submission for buying office Executes Purchase Order Upload (post vendor validation) Maintain Purchase Orders as needed Assists with tracking purchase orders from entry to delivery Manage sample process and vendor follow-up Maintain electronic photo file Assist with vendor set-up/maintenance Assist with marketing coordination and web image management Prepare weekly reports and spreadsheets that support the merchant team as needed Manage SKU creation process from quote sheet upload to BOX, data entry and SKU set up
Qualifications and Competencies Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred Proficiency with MS Office products, especially Excel Builds and maintains strong working relationship with peers and cross-functional teams Demonstrates strong listening, written and oral communication skills Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities Is detail oriented and executes tasks with a high level of accuracy Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills Able to multi-task, organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
