Merchandise Coordinator - Rejuvenation

About the Merchandising Team

You will be part of the Rejuvenation Merchandising team, which builds an engaging, unique and functional assortment of home furnishings and décor. Our team considers all areas of the home, from the Living Room, to the Kitchen, to the Garden. We work cross-functionally with the Design, Sourcing, and Planning teams, as well as the Retail and Web channels to deliver small and large scale pieces for every style of home. 

This is a hybrid role - 4 days/week onsite in our Portland office required.

Overview of the Merchandise Coordinator role 

As a Merchandise Coordinator, you will provide support and coordination for your assigned category’s Buying team for all Rejuvenation sales channels.

 

Responsibilities

Coordinate list of incoming samples and due dates from suppliers and track shipments and communicate to the Merchandising Team. Track samples from vendors; coordinate movement of merchandise to sample room or category Buyer. Setup and maintain status of department SKUs. Create and maintain Product Development Spreadsheets. Create and maintain monthly Product Information (PI) Sheets. Help prepare and assemble visual product presentations for product line reviews. Coordinate with visual team to execute store signage. Support customer service inquiries by troubleshooting technical solutions and providing exceptional customer support. Assist with ordering product and coordinating sample handoff to photo team. General administrative duties and other merchandising tasks assigned by management/Buying team. Operate a computer and communicate via telephone Transport materials and equipment and lift, move, and carry objects up to 50 pounds on a limited basis

 

Criteria

BA/BS degree in retail or merchandise management (preferred, not required) 1-3 years prior experience in retail or merchandising Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, to include Word, Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities. Thrives in a high energy and fast paced environment, with the ability to be flexible and react to rapidly changing business needs and priorities. Ability to perform work onsite in the Portland office full-time pending state, local, and Company return-to-work guidance during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
