The Merchandise Planner of Central Planning supports the US Domestic Merchandise Planning and Allocation team through creating & maintaining multi-channel reporting at the Sub Brand/Sub class level. Provides analytics & materials for (but not limited to) Monthly Plan Review, Weekly Business Review, and Quarterly Earnings. The Merchandise Planner will be expected to present in the monthly business review meetings and be able to craft a story around business trends and go forward risk/opportunity.

Responsibilities Perform business and profitability analysis with additional focus on US Dual channel selling metrics. Collaborate with cross functional partners from Planning, Finance, Marketing, Store Operations, and Inventory Deployment. Prepare and analyze Dual Channel reporting. Identify recommendations for business actions to drive merch plan financial targets. Partner with Finance to ensure Merch Plan alignment with Budget and dig into variances and why. Manage & track CRM & BOPIS reporting, including analyzing relationships and trends. Actively pursue growth and development opportunities, continually finding ways to improve. Communicate openly and directly; accept responsibility and champion ideas despite challenges. Champion collaboration by being a valued teammate and building good relationships across functional and division lines. Set high personal performance standards that deliver results, convey a sense of urgency and enthusiasm for the business, and help achieve objectives despite obstacles. Support the Manager of Central Planning and collaborate with partners to develop and actively manage the promotional calendar.

Qualifications

4+ years retail planning or relevant business experience Retail Industry or Merchandise Planning experience preferred High Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint Prior experience using EDW / MicroStrategy or another web-based Data Services engine preferred Business Analytics experience Strong analytical and data gathering skills Strong collaboration skills High proficiency in financial modeling techniques Good business acumen Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills Excellent communication and presentation skills; be comfortable interacting with executive-level management Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or Business field required.
