What you’ll be doing:

Project Coordination:Assist and eventually independently implement category initiatives related to site merchandising, assortment, sales, marketing, private label, and pricing. Projects must be completed with a sense of urgency as they allow the Senior Category Manager to achieve business objectives, including sales, profitability, and market share growth.Data Analysis and Reporting:Pull and analyze sales, inventory, site, and market data, to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for category growth.Supplier Management:Support the Senior Category Manager in maintaining and developing relationships with external suppliers/ vendors.Assist in negotiating terms, managing contracts, and addressing any issues related to product quality, pricing, or delivery.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with other departments, including site merchandising, sales, marketing, private label, pricing, and supply chain, to ensure effective execution of category strategies.Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to discussions on category performance and strategy.

What you bring to the table:

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and build strong relationships with all stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Proficient with Microsoft Office1-2 years office experience
