WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As Merchandiser you will support global merchandising strategy by providing analysis, product knowledge, and marketplace insights and executing for the Americas Region (US and Canada).
Develop and maintain initial NA line plan documents, ensuring alignment with margin targets, pricing, SKU, delivery, projections, and rollups.Assist in managing SKU and financial targets, comparing current merchandising plans against planning financial roadmap targets.Prepare comprehensive merchandising documents for pivotal product milestone meetings.Issue style numbers, set up style shells and colorways in PLM, and manage seasonal style/color updates to the line-sheet.Serve as the primary communicator for style updates/changes to merchandising, development and global teams, post-meetings.Take ownership of catalog preparation, ensuring alignment with the seasonal merchandising strategy.Proof all style details for catalog accuracy and maintain assortment accuracy in PLM.Act as the point person for data accuracy tasks related to sample and production integration.Compile and analyze NA seasonal hindsight information and pre-season category insights for strategic planning.Gather and maintain competitor insight information regarding pricing and style details.Organize and facilitate meetings and conferences, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.Oversee the SMU timeline, costing, margin and communication with all departments, as well as acting as the point of contact with sales and accounts. Lead and manage the SMU pricing and product creation process, including concept, style, color plan, wholesale and MSRP strategies.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field is preferred.An in-depth knowledge of market, trends, innovation, competition, and product details.4+ years experience in Apparel and accessory product (merchandising, buying, selling, development)Strong analytical and communication skills, with an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines efficiently.Intermediate proficiency with Mac OS; advanced skills in Word, Excel, Outlook; and beginner to intermediate ability with PLM. Experience with Full Circle software is a plus.Strong Product/Design aesthetic/high taste levelAbility to identify and predict future product opportunities/trends Knowledge of product development calendar, timelines and deliverablesMust be able to multitask and work in fast paced environmentMust have excellent verbal and written communication and follow through skills

Liberated Brands is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Costa Mesa, CA is $70,000 - $85,000. This position is hybrid and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skill set, certifications, and specific work location.
