**DESCRIPTION** The Merchandiser is required to engage consumers/retailers at our trade shows and retail outlets. These individuals will be responsible for representing ACOSTA and being experts for our principals. Consumer interaction will entail answering product and nutritional inquiries, providing samples/coupons and any other information requests or objectives as set forth by their Manager to achieve superior in-store results in an assigned territory. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Approach consumers/retailers and offer them samples of great natural and organic products. * Inform and share key brand messages with enthusiasm. * Reaching sample and sales targets for the day. * Create an exciting, and memorable brand/shopping experience for the consumer/retailer. * Encourage consumers/retailers to purchase the brand (dependent on target audience i.e., tradeshows or in-store demo). * Maintaining a safe & sanitary workstation. * Basic set up and tear down (ensure all supplies are provided before arrival). * Detailed postmortem reports and images of demo station. **QUALIFICATIONS** • * Socially confident, approachable, outgoing and enthusiastic personality * Reliable individual who can work independently and on a team * Access to a computer/internet for some online reporting/training * Sales experience is an asset * Quality Commitment, Detail Oriented * Strong demonstration of the following core competencies:; Customer Service, and Communication Skills * Must be comfortable utilizing Technology Physical Requirements: * Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 25 lbs * Seeing * Ability to Travel * Pushing/Pulling * Color Perception * Climbing * Carrying (specify pounds 25 ) * Lifting (specify pounds 25 **ABOUT US** Acosta is a part of Acosta Group – a collective of the industry’s most trusted retail, marketing and foodservice agencies reimagining the way people connect with brands at every point in their shopping journey.
