Apply now! **Location:** 850 76th Street S.W. - Byron Center, Michigan 49315 **Job Description:** **Position Summary:** This role is responsible for driving business results by delivering insights and actionable recommendations to Merchandising decision makers. The analyst will work closely with stakeholders to evaluate financial performance, identify business opportunities, form plans to capture value, and track progress toward business objectives. This position offers an opportunity for an early-in-career analyst to showcase business acumen and data storytelling skills to senior leaders in the Merchandising organization. **Here’s what you’ll do:** + Demonstrate natural curiosity and the tenacity to see it satisfied. + Guide decision makers using well-rounded actionable insights that drive sustainable growth and cost savings. + Champion analytic solutions with business teams and build excellent strong cross-functional relationships that generate results. + Design and implement reporting to evaluate the performance and identify key success factors of Merchandising programs. + Capture, document, and share Merchandising analytical processes and tools. + Support the success of team efforts when required. **Here’s what you’ll need:** + Bachelor’s Degree (Required) in Retail or Wholesale Management, Business Analytics or Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. + 3 years' experience in merchandising, financial analysis, or a quantitative field required. + Solid grasp of merchandising financials in a retail or wholesale setting strongly preferred. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to independently define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions, and recommend concise solutions. + Experience in presentation of insights and recommendations using visualizations to tell a motivating story. + Exceptional Excel (e.g., Formulas, Pivot Tables, etc.) and PowerPoint required. + Hands-on experience with reporting tools such as MS Power BI, Microstrategy, Tableau or similar preferred. + Experience with SQL and scripting languages such as R or Python a plus. **Physical Requirements:** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
