Overview The Merchandising Manager will work closely with the Director of Merchandising to support merchandising efforts and ensure smooth operations within the merchandising team. The Manager will be responsible for training product specialists, supporting merchandising initiatives, managing cross departmental relationships, overseeing projects, and assisting with content creation and reporting. Experience with PIM (Product Information Management) or catalog development is a plus. What you will need + A bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Marketing, or other relevant fields.  + 3-5 years of experience in merchandising, project management, or a related role, preferably within the multifamily or distribution industries.  + Experience with PIM or catalog development is a plus. How you will make an impact + Oversee and manage training for product specialists and the merchandising analyst. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the staff has the necessary knowledge of product lines, eCommerce systems (Optimizely & Algolia), and industry trends.  + Foster strong relationships with internal teams including category managers, sales, international purchasing, special orders, and sales management. Ensure smooth communication and collaboration on projects that impact multiple departments.  + Assist in overseeing merchandising projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This includes promotional materials (e.g., flyers, calendars), and digital campaigns. + Oversee relationships with external vendors, ensuring Co-op funding opportunities are maximized and that materials align with marketing guidelines. Help coordinate the submission of creative materials for approval.  + Work with the Director of Merchandising to compile reports and assess the performance of merchandising initiatives. Gather data on industry trends, customer sentiment, and competitor activity to inform future efforts.  + Oversee creative asset management, ensuring that photos, videos, and digital materials are stored correctly, version-controlled, and used appropriately across marketing initiatives.  + Assist in tracking budgets and ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and within financial constraints.  + Help ensure the sales team and other departments are informed about new products, product updates, and merchandising initiatives. Ensure proper distribution of materials across the company.  + Contribute to Product Information Management (PIM) and catalog development efforts, ensuring that product data is accurate, consistent, and accessible across platforms. + Proficiency with MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access), with expert Excel experience a MUST.  + Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.  + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.  + Ability to conduct basic data analysis and report on campaign performance.  + Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.  + Attention to detail, ensuring that all materials adhere to brand standards.  + Collaborates closely with cross-departmental teams to ensure alignment with company goals and merchandising objectives.  + Reports directly to the Director of Merchandising and assists in supporting the overall merchandising strategy. #INDAC Powered by JazzHR
