The Merchandising Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the target sales are reached for their assigned category/brand. She is expected to do this by executing all approved merchandising efforts such as inventory monitoring, purchase order processing, and stock movement processing

A Merchandising Supervisor is responsible for:

Achieving brand sales target and profitability Providing sufficient and right merchandise mix for each store Monitoring merchandise movements and depletion of aging & damaged items Maintaining and identifying good and potential suppliers Analyzing and recommending trends based on market research and competition Developing products and acquisition Accomplishing reports on top-selling & non-moving items, inventory count, aging merchandise, merchandise sales status, merchandise mix ratio, saleable color, and style & price point analysis Supporting the merchandising team in executing merchandise processes – selection, visual display, stock allocation, distribution, inventory, sales & inventory analysis Distributing merchandise transfer orders in a properly and orderly manner to the stores
