Description We are in search of a Mergers & Acquisitions Specialist to join our team in New York, New York. As part of our detail-oriented services organization, you will play a crucial role in our financial planning and corporate strategy development processes. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Assist in the development of financial plans and forecasts • Analyze profitability and expenses to inform strategic decisions • Break down revenues by service lines to enhance financial visibility • Aid in crafting strategies for potential firm acquisitions • Leverage expertise in fund raising and capital raises • Contribute to annual financial reporting and budget processes • Help prepare investor decks for pitch meetings with potential investors • Support merger integration processes • Play an active role in corporate financial planning and long-range financial planning • Prepare comprehensive financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role or related field • Proficiency in acquisitions is an essential requirement for this role • An in-depth understanding of budget processes is required • Must possess experience in annual financial reporting • Expertise in corporate financial planning is necessary • A strong background in financial planning is mandatory • Knowledge in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) is a requirement • Experience in long-range financial planning is vital for this role • Familiarity with merger integration processes is necessary • Experience in capital raises is a significant plus • Ability to prepare financial reports is essential.
