The position is responsible for managing the integration of acquired company's people, practices, systems and tools into HP. The M&A Integration Manager will serve as the project manager responsible for leading the integration process, leading development and execution of integration plans, defining and achieving deal KPIs, facilitating cross-functional problem-solving, managing and driving closure of issues, and implementing ongoing process improvement.
Responsibilities
Plan and lead end-to-end integration program across one or multiple deals, including:Developing and conducting the Integration team kickoff and planning workshopsMeeting with target / acquired company management team and employees as needed to ensure they understand the integration processEnsuring all functional integration leaders understand their roles and responsibilitiesDeveloping integrated cross-functional project plansIndirectly overseeing all functional work to manage risk, ensure issue resolution and facilitate timely completion of integration activitiesFacilitating regular cross-functional meetingsDeveloping and delivering regular executive status updatesPrioritize and triage integration activities, initiatives and risks to complete integration according to plan and make planning and execution decisionsManage interdependencies between functions so activities are prioritized and sequenced correctlySupport cross-functional teams as needed to facilitate closure of integration activitiesEvaluate the risks associated with an integration and mitigate them to the most reasonable extent possibleEscalate issues requiring executive input so they are resolved quickly and effectivelyUtilize analytical tools, models, and methods to develop recommendations from complex data and business analysis, and drive construction of highly innovative statistical and financial models as neededDevelop and execute forward-thinking strategies to support long-term growthCounsel business leaders, recommend approaches for executing high-level strategies and develop/offer creative solutions and ideas.Develop and deliver executive-level presentations. Regularly engage with executive stakeholders to build culture of transparency and trustEstablish metrics required to measure business performance, and recommend the go-forward strategy to address performance gaps.Define integration exit / business as usual handover criteria and ensure exit criteria are metDocument any handoffs to business line leaders at the end of the transition periodCapture lessons learned and recommendations for future acquisitions

There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
