MES Functional Analyst (Temp)

Under general supervision, the MES Functional Analyst will participate in implementing, supporting, and enhancing technology projects specifically related to Penumbra’s Manufacturing Execution Systems. He/she will serve as a liaison between business process owners in Business Units, Functional Groups, and IT.
What You'll Work OnUtilize expertise in MES modules, such as business process modeling, to help the company roll out an eDHR solution. *Participate in architecting and implementing solutions that improve business process efficiency and accuracy for MES solution.* Apply domain expertise to advise the business units on best practices, processes, and system improvements to drive the full adoption of MES solutions. *Empower users and super-users by training and performing knowledge transfer to leverage IT systems for the business process automation and optimization. *Gather and document business requirements, formulate use cases and participate in solution design activities.* Interface with other systems and technical development of MES transactions and screens.*Participate in future MES projects by performing the following activities: gathering requirements, data mapping, documenting specifications and design details, and deploying enhancements.*Define and manage the scope, strategy, user stories and measures of success.*Support future MES integrations with PLM, QMS, ERP applications etc.Partner with end users and process owners to identify continuous improvement opportunities.*Perform other duties as required.Comply with quality system regulations, standards and proceduresWhat You'll BringBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus three years of directly relevant experience deploying Camstar MES systems.Strong hands-on manufacturing shop floor management and distribution operations experience; experience with developing and maintaining business and technical documentation related to MES software; strong attention to detail, individual initiative, and organization skills. Effective analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills required. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. MES/MESA certification preferred. .
Working ConditionsGeneral office environment. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms, and to use a computer, sitting for extended periods. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to read, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.Annual Base Salary Range: $111,172 - $139,696 / yearWe offer a competitive compensation package plus a benefits and equity program, when applicable. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
