Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Become a Product Expert: Learn about the Clients’ product portfolio, products, and accessories.
Team Leadership & Development: Manage, motivate, direct, and coach a team to consistently meet and exceed sales and project targets for the Clients' products and accessories.
Performance Management: Supervise Sales Representative's performance, provide training, guidance, and feedback, and ensure adherence to company policies.
Client & Territory Management: Develop and maintain positive relationships with the Client, retailers, and other stakeholders within the assigned territory.
Sales & Project Management: Track sales activity, events, and merchandising projects, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness.
Travel & Representation: Travel regularly throughout the territory, attend and facilitate training, and visit stores as required.
Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Demonstrate sound judgment and initiative, make informed decisions, and effectively troubleshoot challenges.
Administrative Responsibilities: Accurately document performance counseling, terminations, and other essential activities.
Performance Metrics
Achievement of Client product line and accessory sales goals.
Client satisfaction levels as measured by territory detractors and substantiated complaints.
Maintenance of appropriate staffing levels across the region.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Business degree preferred.
3-5 years of experience in retail and sales management.
Strong leadership skills with effective communication and presentation abilities.
Proven ability to manage independently with excellent time management skills.
Ability to travel 50% or more of the year throughout the US and work flexible hours.
Proficiency in managing by P&L (Profit & Loss) standards.
Reliable transportation with valid insurance.
