**Job Title: General Laborer** **Job Description** Floats in facility supporting labor tasks in Press Brake, Paint line, grinding, part cleaning and more. Sets up and operates power press to bend, form, stretch, punch, and straighten metal plates, metal extrusions, formed sheet metal, structural shapes, tubing, forgings, and weldments. Buff, polish, and ensure a class A finish on top of the line products. Buff and polish piece parts from defects during the manufacturing process. Inspect piece parts and finished workpieces. Perform miscellaneous duties as required. Ensure production metrics are being met. We also provide welding jackets and gloves for welders. **Work Environment** Mid-size 30 person fabrication shop that has paint, press brake, welding, and assembly processes. Growing and adding 6-7 customers in 2024. Production welding and welding bays. Two buildings on site totaling 66k sq ft to grow into. Working with mild steel from 20 gauge to 1 inch. Shift is Monday-Thursday 5:30am-3:30pm with Friday OT if needed. Flexible hours as long as a manager is present. Paid breaks and a 20-minute paid lunch. Interviews available Monday-Thursday 8:30am-10:30am CT and Monday-Wednesday 12pm-2pm CT. Start on Mondays at 8am with a video and 2-4 hour orientation followed by on-the-job training. Attendance policy includes a call-out line and a point system for absences. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dunlap, Tennessee. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
