**Join the PDS Tech team as a Metal Fitter Tacker in Burbank, CA!** Make your mark in precision metal fabrication with a company that values quality and craftsmanship. **Position:** Metal Fitter Tacker **Type:** Full-time, 6-month contract **Location:** Burbank, CA **Shift:** 7 AM - 3:30 PM **Pay:** $22.00-$ 28.00/hour **Key Responsibilities:** + Measure, scribe, trim, and fit sheet metal components. + Fabricate and assemble parts from work orders, blueprints, and drawings. + Perform operations such as drilling, grinding, and assembling to tight tolerances. + Align and straighten assemblies before and after welding. + Follow planning sequences and provide suggestions for improvement. + Ensure weld accuracy, correct rod usage, and part fit prior to welding. + Maintain high output (95%) and quality standards (99%). **Requirements:** + High School Diploma or equivalent, 3-5 years of experience. + Tacking Certificate, “M” Stamp, Visual Weld Inspection certification. **Tools & Materials:** + Hand tools, scales, expanders, shears, welding gases, ferrous and non-ferrous metals. **Pay Details:** $22.00 to $28.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
