IPS - RMB Products is seeking a Metal Weld (Chemical) - 1st shift who performs the welding of production hardware, tooling, fixturing, and production molds for assigned projects.

Job Accountabilities:
• Primary activity is the welding of production hardware, tooling, fixturing, and production molds
• Weld-prep carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum in predominately the 1-G, 3-G, and 6-G positions by sawing and hand-grinding to ensure a good weld fit-up to produce quality welds by the Mig & Tig processes
• Provides support to the Machine Shop and Production Molding departments as the workloads dictate such as drilling and tapping, sawing, polishing, and burning of steel shapes and details
• Fabricate pipes and/or vessels to the drawing specifications
Job Specifications:
Education: Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent required
Years' Experience: 2 years of relevant experience, formal training is preferred
Skills:
+ Welding certification preferred
+ Current Forklift certification preferred
+ Current Crane and Rigging certification preferred
+ Journeyman certification preferred (Can substitute passing an equivalency exam)
+ Requires a flexible and cooperative attitude, which includes when asked to perform other duties or tasks that are not listed within this job description but within the scope of this position • Requires communication skills both written and orally in the English language • Requires excellent safety practices, which includes keeping a clean work area
+ Ability to multi-task with great attention to detail of industry standards for a quality product and customer expectation
+ Effectively process change through RMB feedback and reviews
+ Requires personal responsibility and accountability meeting workmanship standards with little supervision to complete assignments
+ Must maintain the confidentiality of all projects, customers, and RMB
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
+ Must read and interpret blueprints and customer expected specifications
+ Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions of the Chemical Production Supervisor, Supervisor's representative, or customer
+ Standing: working with machinery
+ Sitting: computer work • Repetitive movement
+ Ability to operate a for-lift and overhead crane
+ Lifting no more than 50 pounds alone and assisting in team lifts of more than 50 pounds
