Work with the Sales team, Operations and Customers to provide solution to technical and metallurgical issues.

Responsibilities Review incoming specs and customer inquiries to ensure excellent performance of engineered steel bar products in each end use.Work with operations to improve quality performance, cost, and yield of existing productsWork with customers to develop new products and capabilitiesWork with operations  to share customer preferences, industry benchmarks, metallurgical training, and state of the market.Support customer visits and tours at the mill as well as participating in visits to customer facilities and industry events Qualifications Some travel required to support customer and industry event visitsBS Materials Science or Metallurgy5 plus years experience in SBQ or similar field
