FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.

JOB DESCRIPTIONKTTV is seeking a Meteorologist who is an excellent and professional communicator and presenter, possesses a strong science background and is able to explain the weather story by utilizing graphics and video in a way that explains various weather conditions and helps viewers prepare for their day. The ideal candidate will be part of the station’s efforts to be the weather authority in the market on multiple platforms.

The Meteorologist must be a dynamic presenter and have a superior understanding of math, science and weather as well as being an outstanding communicator internally and externally. The ideal candidate is someone who has mastered every aspect of meteorology and has a passion for winning weather even on regular days by helping viewers plan their day as well as mastery of the weather system to drive ways to improve presentation, graphics and technology.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $52.67 per hour.
