Air Swift
Position: 2 x Methods Engineers + 1x Lead Methods Engineer
Project: B58 Suriname
Location: Offshore (BOSIET + valid medical required)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: 12 months, renewable
Language: English required, French is a plus
Office based: 3 days per week in Paris
About the Role
We’re looking for two experienced Methods Engineers, including one Lead, to join a major EPCI project team on the B58 Suriname development. You’ll play a critical role in the planning and execution of offshore/subsea installations, working at the heart of a fast-paced, high-impact project.
Education & Technical Skills Engineering degree (Mechanical, Civil, Marine, Structural, or similar). Expertise in installation engineering, offshore construction, or subsea projects. Familiar with offshore equipment, rigging, and installation aids. Skilled in creating and reviewing technical procedures, installation drawings, and documentation. Knowledge of HIRA, FAT/SIT/OT, and HSE risk assessments. Professional Experience 3–8+ years in offshore/subsea installation projects (EPC/subsea contractor background ideal). 10+ years for the Lead position. Experience in cross-functional teams: Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, HSE, Operations. Direct involvement with subcontractors and suppliers, including documentation and FAT/SIT management. Experience with Saipem processes (or similar offshore EPC players) is a plus.
Your Responsibilities Develop and manage installation procedures and documentation. Interface with design teams, subcontractors, and drafting resources. Conduct technical reviews, support bid evaluations, and manage interfaces. Contribute to meetings, presentations, and detailed project reporting.
Mindset & Soft Skills Detail-oriented and highly organized. Strong communicator with excellent team collaboration skills. Able to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic offshore environment. Proactive, methodical, and solutions-driven.
Preferred Tools & Software AutoCAD, Navisworks, MS Project, Primavera. MDR tracking (Master Document Register) experience. Comfortable analysing large technical datasets and reports.
