Method Development / Validation Summer Intern

We are seeking sophomores and juniors majoring in Chemistry, Biotechnology and chemical engineering for a 10-Week Student Intern role to be working on a global team in Frederick, MD for a June 2nd - August 8th contract period.

Position Duties:

Perform predesigned container closure integrity test of vials/syringes.

Perform UV-Vis analysis.

Perform dilution calculation and carry out dilution task and solution preparation. 

Author study reports.

Present data in meetings, and summarize findings of project in a final presentation.

Other methods/techniques may apply once identified as necessary during the study (for instance, viscometer for viscosity impact on the dye ingress).

Position Requirements:

Undergraduate sophomores and juniors majoring in Chemistry, Biotechnology and chemical engineering.

**Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.

Chemistry coursework and lab experience.

MS Office (PPT, Excel, Word). PowerBI experience is a plus

Ability to perform predesigned container closure integrity test of vials/syringes.

Be able to Perform UV-Vis analysis.

Be able to do the dilution calculation and carry out dilution task and solution preparation. 

Be able to Author study reports.

Be able to Present data in meeting.

Other methods/techniques may apply once identified as necessary during the study (for instance, viscometer for viscosity impact on the dye ingress).

Project management experience is a plus.

Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.

US Work Authorization is required at time of application.

Applicants must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa (e.g., CPT, H1-B, F-1 (OPT), TN, or other non-immigrant status). This role will not be providing CPT/OPT support.

Ability to report onsite to Frederick, MD 5 days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance, and will be prioritizing local applicants.

Minimum grade point average of 3.0
