About the Role

Responsible for the development of reports and analysis of Operations’ metrics to keep track of the team’s performance and understand the reasons behind the trends, keep track of issues and challenges that might impact the ability of the team to meet its business’ plans and objectives and help them make informed decisions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develops monitoring reports to keep track of the team’s performance as well as challenges and issues that might impact the ability of the team to meet its business’ plans and objectives and help the team make informed decisionsIdentifies all required data sets given the information requirements as specified in the business requirementsDetermines queries to create reports as required Creates formulae where necessary in order to analyze dataCollaborates with other business units on reporting and data-related projects/initiativesAnalyzes metrics to understand the WHYs behind the trends and take necessary actions to improve themProvide actionable insights including communication and presentation of findings to relevant business units / managementHandles metrics reporting to Group as well as to internal business units Responsible for the accuracy and on-time delivery of all reporting requirements

Minimum Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science or a related discipline with at least 2-3 years of experience in data analytics, reporting and metrics managementExperience using programming languages such as SAS, Python, SQLExperience using visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBIBackground in handling big data. Strong track record of manipulating, processing, and extracting data from large databasesPreferably with knowledge of insurance /business processesMust be proficient in MS Office applicationsMust be organized and keen to detailsWith good analytical and problem-solving skillsMust have excellent oral and written communication skills
