Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for providing technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles and manipulates technical data such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering documentation, reports and drawings such as flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics. Provides analyses of data or documentation where guidelines are provided in such areas as statistical analysis, model dimensional consistency and accuracy, and uses quantitative judgment concerning technical data. Performs complex and detailed mathematical calculations. Analyses a variety of documentation and reports as required. Conducts tests and records data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.
