Actalent Engineering is seeking qualified candidates for a Metrology Technician opening with a company that serves the defense industry in York, PA. This person will be part of the quality engineering team and will be responsible for conducting laser inspection and dimensional report generation primarily for fixtures and structures in support of various military programs.

Generating detailed reports of data for Manufacturing, Engineering, and QualityConducting laser inspections of new design installations for integration into manufacturingPerforming inspection tasks for new designs and design changes with laser dataInterfacing with Design Engineering, Program Management, Quality, and Manufacturing to address product issuesCreating and delivering quality inspection plans and reports that provide data to Manufacturing and customersReviewing laser data and developing preventative action plansRetrieving quality data and communicating results and statuses to internal and external customersDeveloping corrective action plans as necessary.

1+ year of experience using a CMM or other metrology deviceExperience working in product qualityDefense industry experience is preferred but not required
