Mexico Actuarial Pricing Manager
Mexico Actuarial Pricing Manager Objective: The primary objective of this role is to lead the actuarial pricing efforts for Mexico Personal Insurance (PI), managing a team of pricing actuaries and closely collaborating with the Mexico Underwriting (UW) team. The role requires a deep understanding of business needs to prioritize pricing requests, conduct thorough pricing and portfolio analyses, and convert these insights into actionable recommendations. These efforts will support the UW team in enhancing profitability and achieving business growth targets. Key Responsibilities -Lead and oversee the Mexico PI pricing team, managing team members, prioritizing tasks, and fostering strong connections with internal stakeholders, including the Underwriting, Claims, Reserving, and Global Pricing teams.- Develop pricing models for new PI products and handle special business case analyses.- Conduct detailed portfolio analyses and provide actionable insights to the Underwriting team to inform decision-making and profitability strategies.- Perform Rate Level Indications, rate updates, and loss cost model updates- Lead the Rebaseline and Budget LR processes for Mexico PI- Collaborate with senior management, presenting findings, strategies, and addressing any concerns related to pricing, portfolio performance, and risk management.- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across pricing practices, including data development, risk modeling, reporting, and other relevant processes Reimagining insurance to make a bigger difference to the world American International Group, Inc.
