Resolver has a rare opportunity within its Platform Imminent Threat Intelligence team, to join a dynamic team of analysts protecting users and brands from real world harm!
Alongside some of the most skilled analysts in the world, you will always be the first to know and first to act, providing our clients with real time intelligence as to the threats and risks they, their staff and locations, face. Fighting these risks on social media requires dynamism and fluidity to face each problem individually and appropriately, whilst also applying a consistent lens of investigative curiosity.
Successful candidates will ideally have a background in Trust & Safety, with online investigative skills being desirable, but to help you be truly successful, Resolver will provide extensive training and support from our subject matter experts and best-in-class analyst team.
This role is predominantly Monday - Friday between the hours of 9am-5:30pm local time, however, there will be the occasional requirement to work between the hours of 7am-11pm UK time, with weekend and bank holiday work on a rotating basis.
Desired Qualities and Skills
Strong writing and editing skills, particularly writing concise, short-form items and reviewing for bias, word choice, and factual accuracy
You will be a skilled communicator, who is able to articulate clearly and concisely in verbal and written forms. You will confidently present your ideas in person or over text-based mediums like Slack and video conferencing like Google Meets/Hangouts and be a role model to staff and colleagues
Comfortable making quick, independent decisions and demonstrate the ability to correctly prioritise across competing tasks according to team goals
You will be working on critical and high-risk content so you’ll need to be a natural problem-solver who can prioritise and identify problems and make quick, sound decisions
Flexibility is key, as is a keen interest in OSINT and SOCMINT investigations
You’ll also have a passion for learning, as well as an interest in world affairs, and equally you’ll enjoy sharing your knowledge with the wider teams
1 years experience working in an intelligence environment and/or in security or equivalent professional experience in a related field, such as online trust and safety, brand or social media management
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring clients online content and assessing the need to send an alert where a security or other threat risk is identified
Understanding the risk landscape for all of our individual clients and reviewing data in line with their requirements
Efficiently and precisely writing alerts to send to clients when a threat is identified
Understanding violative content and making a decision to action said content when it is posted on a clients page
Providing in-depth intelligence monitoring and reporting as required, in line with geopolitical events.
Communicating with your line manager and colleagues when a significant risk is identified
Essential qualifications, experience and competencies
Experience of working within a 24/7, multi-national team is highly desirable
Knowledge and experience in a social media risk intelligence environment
