The Manufacturing Automation Service Desk Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) is a critical role focused on the reliability and maintainability of the Manufacturing Automation service desk infrastructure and support systems, to improve service desk efficiency and to reduce manual overheads. This role combines aspects of Manufacturing Automation operations and software engineering to design, develop, and implement scalable and reliable technical solutions that enhance the service desk's ability to provide high-quality, effective and efficient support to end-users. The SRE will work closely with Manufacturing Automation support teams, developers, and system administrators to ensure continuous improvement and efficient operation of service desk tools and processes.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, with at least 2 years working experience.Excellent verbal and listening communication skills in English as primary and Mandarin is a plus for China (PRC) site support.Proven experience in FMSC Mfg Automation operations, with a focus on Applications, Station Controllers or Level 2 technical support environments.Strong knowledge of ticketing platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) and ITSM best practices.Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python), as well as GenAI and Machine Learning.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.ITIL certification or familiarity with ITIL processes is a plus.Inside this Business GroupAs the world's largest chip manufacturer, Intel strives to make every facet of semiconductor manufacturing state-of-the-art -- from semiconductor process development and manufacturing, through yield improvement to packaging, final test and optimization, and world class Supply Chain and facilities support.
