Mfg Finance Analyst

We have an opportunity for a Manufacturing Finance Analyst to join our Cary, NC team. You will be responsible for supporting the Pool Business Segment and Supply Chain transformation. This role will support our supply team on a daily basis as well as various other financial activities including but not limited to database analysis and coordination with supply team, cost benefit analysis, forecasting and financial reporting.This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Supply Chain and Operations Finance for the Pool Segment and be the strategic finance partner to the Global Sr. Manager, NPI Sourcing.

You will:

Be a valued and integral part of our global organization, engaging with various levels of leadership.Work closely with our supply team in continuously improving our performance methodologies in supporting team with analyses.Uncover and drive continuous improvement opportunities in supply productivity and reporting/forecasting optimization.Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, ensuring timely and accurate results in support of the Pool Segment’s strategy.Support Supply Chain and Finance Leadership with analysis and presentation of monthly material variances.Partner with Supply Leadership and global commodity managers to prepare weekly outlooks, monthly rolling forecasts, and the annual plan.Encourage connection of supply projects with manufacturing sites, and the connection with financial results and forecastsMonitor risks and opportunities, along with helping support/drive analysis of Global Supply Material Savings Funnel and report out to leadership.Grow with our global supply team, and overall organization in a culture that fosters respect and teamwork, positive energy, customer first, absolute integrity, innovation and adaptability, and accountability for performance.

Key Qualifications: 

Have 3+ years of related finance experience, preferably with a global manufacturing or distribution company.Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred)Have an analytical mindset with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.Be an excellent communicator to various levels within an organization.Have a strong understanding of financial statements and general accounting.Be able to work well on cross functional team projects.Have strong presenting skills.Be a continuous learner.Thrive in an environment of continuous improvement.Pay attention to details and have strong reporting skills.Have exceptional planning and budgeting knowledge.Be quick to learn new ideas and concepts, but at the same time have the ability to produce quality work.Build relationships quickly and be able to influence decision makers.Be flexible and be able to work under time constraints and deadlines.Experience using database/BI tools (Denodo/Power BI), management reporting (OneStream) and ERP tools (QAD, SAP or JDE) is a plus.Knowledge of lean manufacturing principlesCost accounting knowledge

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $61,200-$113,600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as an annual incentive bonus.
