Job Description:

Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasound Sonographer

 

Baptist Health Louisville is seeking to hire a full time Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasound Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasounds which include extensive OB Ultrasounds, Biophysical profile, Amniotic Fluid index, Transvaginal ultrasounds, and Echocardiograms.  The sonographer will use interpretive skills to identify and record test results and report preliminary findings to Perinatologist.  The sonographer will also assist Perinatologist with invasive procedures (such as amniocentesis).

 

24 Hours Weekly, Part Time, Dayshift (8am-430pm; 1 weekday call required and 1 Saturday or Sunday per month call required rotated with other sonographers) Some occasional travel to satellite offices.

 

Requirements:

Currently registered thru ARDMS required. Newly graduated candidates will receive 90 days to obtain.

Current BCLS certification within 90 days of hire.
