The position could be either HQ or Field-based. This position leads all planning and implementation aspects of the project and is organizationally aligned in the RDI Department.

**Salary, based on experience and other qualifications:** $93,000 to $158,000 annual with additional bonus potential.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Lead the identification of project team members and secure their membership in the team.
+ Lead the kick-off team meeting for a project to establish the project mission, scope, critical success factors and time line.
+ Follow effective project management protocols, including facilitating team meetings, keeping action registers and updating time lines.
+ Lead the identification of project metrics to track and gauge success.
+ Lead the development of project risks and mitigation strategies.
+ Communicate project problems and solutions when required.
+ Manage the project budget.
+ Provide project updates to stakeholders, sponsors, and senior leaders.
**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
No direct reports. This position will also require managing by motivating and influencing your cross-functional team members. Provides input on evaluation of team member effectiveness.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Strong track record of delivering business results.
+ Demonstrated capability of working effectively in a high energy and rapidly moving environment.
+ Previous experience leading teams is a must.
+ Must have leadership experience and be well organized.
+ Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.
+ Must be effective presenting project updates to multi-levels of management.
+ Must be effective in holding cross-functional team members accountable to deliver their responsibilities.
+ Must be effective in managing conflicts within the team.
**EDUCATION:**
+ B.S. in Project Management or Engineering preferred.
+ Other technical degrees and experiences will be considered.
**EXPERIENCE:**
+ Two to four (2 to 4) years work experience in project management or leading cross-functional teams in a CPG or Food Company.
+ PMP certification is a plus.
+ Previous IT project management experience does not apply.
+ Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
+ Experience in working with teams and conflict resolution.
+ Experience with change management.
+ Experience with using Microsoft Project or similar tools.
**SKILLS/PROFICIENCIES:**
+ Team work skills essential.
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present information to small and large groups at various levels of the organization
+ Influencing and leading a wide variety of individuals and cultures.

+ CPG or food plant production experiences a must.
